Spice Farm CSA is committed to providing our members with the freshest, locally grown and harvested produce at reasonable prices. Our food is not only fresher and tastes better than produce trucked in from who knows where, but by buying locally you are supporting the local economy and reducing the amount of energy used in transportation. We use ecologically sound and organic practices to grow the most wholesome, nutritous food.

About Us
Spice Farm is a small-acreage, hand scale, family-owned farm located just a short drive from the village Owego. We started with a large kitchen garden when we first moved to the 150 year old farmhouse in 2010. Since then we added a long bed for our hot peppers, all the better to make lots of spicy salsas. Then we added an herb garden surrounding the heritage breed chicken's coop. Then our neighbor brought his six bottom plow and cleared a quarter acre of the old hay field....

Our Produce
Spice Farm has grown. We now harvest many varieties of heirloom vegetables and organic herbs. We use natural practices such as companion planting, rain harvesting, hand weeding and Integrated Pest Management to help grow the best produce we can.
